While coffee is a stimulant when you drink it, it appears to provide the opposite effect when applied topically. Because it is rich in antioxidants and niacin, it calms your skin and can even decrease signs of aging or sun damage. The caffeine in coffee may may help reduce the appearance of cellulite on the skin.
