Maybe you are and you just don't realize it because there are so many misconceptions.
What do you think of when you hear the term "hippie"? Do you think of freeloading, tie-die wearing druggies who don't bathe? Well, that may apply to some hippies, but most modern day hippies have other, more positive traits.
We still stand for freedom and peace (especially freedom from toxins and peace of mind), but we stand for a lot of other things too. We still trust nature over government and big industry, but that doesn't mean we're anarchists. We love nature and believe in protecting the environment. We also believe in protecting our bodies from icky chemicals and harmful additives in our food and personal care products. We prefer handmade over manufactured, organic over conventional, and homegrown over corporate farmed.
